Wangbijip (Jongno Branch)

Highly recommended Korean BBQ! Came here on a friend’s recommendation and loved it so much we ended up going twice. Great food, great atmosphere, and special thanks to Cho Yound Soo for being incredibly attentive and making the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Our most amazing BBQ experience in Korea. The beef was insanely good, real premium beef, all but the large beef ribs were from Korea and amazingly The large beef rib is imported from the US (which is why they marinate) but was insanely good. The pork was delicious. The service was great, no monitors or screens, only menus and people. Our favorite restaurant so far in Korea.

Wangbijib offers an outstanding Korean BBQ experience from start to finish. Their side dishes are beautifully presented, almost like small pieces of art, and they taste just as good as they look. The restaurant uses premium charcoal to grill the meat, which produces very little smoke and makes the dining experience more comfortable. The beef quality is truly premium — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Their pork belly is also delixious. Even the rice is surprisingly delicious. This place is definitely a must-try for anyone who appreciates high-quality Korean BBQ.

Stop looking for other KBBQ places, this is the spot! WangBiJip was by far my favourite KBBQ place we ate at on our three week trip to Korea! We came here twice becuase it was just that good! Cho Young Soo was super attentive friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! The service was fabulous and the food even better. Definately get the marinated meet, so good!

Very nice atmosphere and top quality beef! We enjoyed every bite. They were cooked to perfection. The next day we tried another branch in Myeondong, it was good too but I think this branch was much better.

Took us sometime to fund the restaurant as it is located at 2nd floor. The service is very good, the staff help you to cook the meat speedy. When the staff sees you taking photo, He even help to use touch light so that you can take a nice photo. Service is very fast, food is delicious. If you pay by cash there will be some discount. Worth visiting

Wonderful weekday meal with beef jumbo rib, pork galbi, and multiple sides (snowflake cheese steamed egg, spicy buckwheat noodles). We were sad that the beef bulgogi was out of stock by 730p this Wednesday, but our meat orders were so delicious!! The complimentary side dishes with each bbq menu were also delicious. Quick service. One flight of stairs to get up.

What a wonderful meal to wrap up our trip to Seoul. You won’t be disappointed by the quality of meat and excellent service. There are beautiful side dishes to start, and we love the pride they have in their meat - if you are photographing it, they’ll bring out extra lighting to make it look best! The rib is incredibly tender. Very attentive service with cooking the meat, down to cutting it into smaller pieces for my kids and trimming anything burnt before serving. It’s located upstairs and is surrounded by other restaurants on ground level, so glad we went up the stairs!
